A Meissen porcelain Figural Group, Emblematic of "Winter", painted in coloures and gilt, modelled as rocaille urn with scroll-moulded cartouche, painted with a winter scene of a youth bending to assist his lover with her ice skates, the body encrusted with icicles, surrounded with burning fire, applied with a putto wearing a fur-lined cape and worming his hands over a stove, on a circular pedestal base. Marks: Blue crossed swords, incised 1493. First half of 19th century. Dimensions: 34.5 cm high. Minor restoration.
