Worcester Porcelain Blue & White Basket c.1770-5

A Worcester porcelain circular* basket c.1770-5,  pierced rim with applied flower heads to the reverse, printed in blue underglaze with "Pine Cone" design and hand-painted border. Dimensions: 23 cm diam. Marks: printed crescent mark on the base. Excellent condition.

* Circular baskets are mostly known with enamelled decoration and are rare in blue and white.
