A Minton Armorial Porcelain Dinner Set c.1882, comprising six dinner plates, two soup plates and a platter, each finely decorated with a family crest in the centre inscribed: "Facta Non Verba"(Deeds Not Words), the border painted in deep cobalt blue and tooled gilt. Dimensions: plates 25.5 cm diam. platter 44.5 cm x 32 cm. Marks: Pattern S2414 in red, Impressed "Mintons" and syphers for 1882, Retailer's printed marks in puce: Wheaton & Bennett, 49 Oxford Street, London. Fine Condition.
