Yellow Transfer Printed Brown Ware Jug, Teabowl and Saucer c.1810-20


A collection of rare early 19th century Brown Ware* Pottery Jug, child's teabowl and saucer, yellow transfer printed with "Chinoiserie" pattern, c.1810-20. Dimensions: Jug: 11.5 cm high, teabowl: 3.7 cm high x 5.5 cm diam, saucer: 10 cm diam. Condition: a tiny nibbles on the rim. Marks: Painted device in yellow on the base.

* This type of pottery has sometimes been referred to as Portobello ware.
