A Swansea Porcelain Cup and Saucer, "Kingfisher" Pattern
A Swansea Porcelain Tea Cup and Saucer, c. 1815-26, the cup with London shape handle, both hand-painted over transfer-printed outlines with the "Kingfisher"* pattern, showing a bird perched on a tree of stylised peonies, gilded rims. Dimensions: Cup: 5.5 cm high, 9 cm diam. Saucer: 14cm diam. Condition; a tiny 1cm hairline on the cup. Unmarked.
