An Italian Mangani Porcelain Jewelry Box c.1950, with gilt metal hinged cover, octagonal shape, each side finely painted with rural scenes in purple and brown on cobalt blue ground and gilt, unglazed base. Dimensions: 13 cm x 9 cm x 7 cm. Painted marks in blue underglaze inside the cover, inscribed: "Modele et de'coration eseclusive a'la main." (rubbed out). Fine condition.
