A Rare Isleworth Porcelain Sauceboat c. 1770-75, the body with pleated moulding reserving panels of fishing scenes painted in blue within a rococo moulded frame, a bouquet painted in the interior and a diaper and flower motif inside the lip, on a fluted pedestal foot, the handle with the pronounced thumbrest. Dimensions: 11 cm. high. Condition: hairline cracks, a small chip on the rim. A similar sauceboat is illustrated in "British Porcelain Sauceboats" by Nicholas Panes, page 214-215, figs. 353-56.
