A Hicks & Meigh Porcelain Dish c.1830


A Hicks and Meigh Porcelain Dish c.1830, finely decorated with three cartouches of colourful shells and flowers alternating with cobalt blue panels containing raised gold leaves and an apricot coloured hatched area. The cartouches and panels are separated by wide gold bands. The handles have a raised moulding in the shape a shell with leaves below. Dimensions: 26 cm across the handles. Marks: Pattern 1849, painted in red. Condition: Minor staining.
