Four English Porcelain Coffee Cups c.1790-1810


Four English "Factory Y" Porcelain Coffee Cups c.1800, barely translucent body, (three with kicked handle similar to Spode, one with loop handle), hand-painted with "top hat" or "executioner"* chinoiserie pattern in coloured enamels. Dimensions: 7 cm high x 6.8 cm diam. Condition: two cups with a hairline, one with a nibble on the rim. Unmarked.

* Similar patternwas used by Factory Z.
