Philip Christian Liverpool Porcelain Teabowl and Saucer c.1770


A fine Philip Christian Liverpool Porcelain Teabowl and Saucer, c.1765-70, soft-paste body, fluted, moulded in relief with leaves and flowers and a border of foliate pattern. Painted in underglaze blue with a border of leaves and scrolls, the centre with a flower motif. Dimensions: teabowl: 4 cm high x 7.8 cm diam, saucer: 12.4 cm diam. Condition: a tiny nibble on the saucer. Unmarked.
